Affiliate Disclosure
Some of the links on LookAmaze are affiliate links. This page explains what that means, how we use them, and what it does not change.
How affiliate links work
Some LookAmaze articles include links to products or services where LookAmaze has an affiliate relationship. An affiliate link is a commercial link: it identifies LookAmaze to the vendor so that a referral can be tracked.
Where these links appear, they are labelled and set apart from the article text, so that commercial content is always distinguishable from editorial content.
What we may earn
If you follow an affiliate link and go on to buy or subscribe, LookAmaze may earn a commission from that vendor.
You do not pay more
The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go to the vendor directly. An affiliate relationship does not add anything to the cost of your purchase.
Editorial decisions are not for sale
Commercial relationships do not decide what we publish, whether we publish it, or how we describe it. Our editorial standards put reader usefulness, honesty and safety first, and monetisation last. We do not allow commercial pressure to distort what an article says or how it is presented.
Where we recommend something, the recommendation is based on reader usefulness and our editorial judgement — not on how much commission it might earn.
Monetised content is labelled
Any block on LookAmaze containing affiliate links is presented as a distinct, labelled element, separate from the article itself. The disclosure appears with the links, not somewhere else on the page. This follows the commitment in our editorial standards that advertising and sponsored material should be distinguishable from editorial content.
What an affiliate relationship does not mean
An affiliate relationship is not a guarantee of a product’s performance, security, suitability or results. We are not the vendor, we do not control the product, and we cannot promise that it will suit your circumstances.
Prices, features, availability and terms are set by the vendor and can change at any time. Please check the vendor’s own website for current details, pricing and terms before you buy.
Where an article touches on health or wellbeing, the general-information standards described in our editorial standards continue to apply. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and a commercial link does not change that.
Questions about our commercial relationships
If you have a question about how we handle affiliate links or any other commercial relationship, please write to us through our contact page and we will answer it.
