LookAmaze R2 — LEGACY COMPATIBILITY LAYER [TEMPORARY — NOT DESIGN]
   ==========================================================================

   WHY THIS FILE EXISTS
   --------------------
WordPress stores "Additional CSS" (Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS)
PER THEME / per stylesheet. Astra's Additional CSS therefore STOPS APPLYING
the moment a child theme becomes active. That was proven on 2026-09-15:
activating the child theme made two elements that the Additional CSS hides
re-appear on every page (see the project verification log, entry V-3b).

This file reproduces the four behaviours of the current Astra Additional CSS
so that, when the child theme is activated, the site looks EXACTLY as it does
today. It is a compatibility bridge only.

   WHAT THIS FILE IS NOT
   ---------------------
   • It is NOT the LookAmaze design system.
   • It contains NO fonts, NO typography scale, NO spacing scale, NO new colours.
   • It chooses NEITHER Palette A nor Palette C — the palette decision is OPEN.
   • The only colour in it is #007399, which is a CURRENT-STATE value carried
over unchanged, exposed as an explicitly-named legacy variable.
   • It edits NOTHING in Elementor, HFE or Astra. No template is touched.

RETIREMENT PLAN — every rule below is scheduled for DELETION
   ------------------------------------------------------------
   R1 overflow guard → retired in R8 (accessibility/responsive):
re-test overflow without the guard, fix the real
                                cause, then delete the rule.
R2 archive thumbnail crop → retired in R7 (image presentation): R7 owns the
thumbnail ratio/crop system; delete this rule.
R3 hidden HFE elements → retired in R3 (header/nav/footer): the real fix
is to remove/correct the two elements in HFE
templates #3247 (header) and #5033 (footer).
Those templates must NOT be edited during R2.
R4 article link colour → retired in the TOKEN step: it becomes a real
                                LookAmaze token once the palette is decided;
this legacy variable and rule are then deleted.

When all four are retired, delete this file and its enqueue block in
   functions.php. Nothing else references it.

                                                   [temporary · retire in R3]
These two elements exist in the HFE header template #3247 and footer
template #5033 and are currently HIDDEN by CSS, not removed. The proper fix
is a content/decision change in those templates during R3. R2 must not edit
   them.

R4 — LEGACY ARTICLE LINK COLOUR [temporary · token step]
#007399 is the CURRENT-STATE colour, carried over unchanged from the Astra
Additional CSS. It is explicitly NOT the LookAmaze accent token and is NOT
part of any palette proposal. Palette A vs C remains OPEN.

The value is exposed through a deliberately loud, legacy-named variable so
the future token can replace it in one place, and so nobody mistakes it for
   a design decision.
